DCWV Stack-a-holic Challenge - January 2018

Today, I have a card for the Stack-a-holic Challenge at DCWV.  I love the way this card turned out. I'm learning to use my Prismacolor pencils, and I must say that the higher price of these pencils are definitely worth it.
I used the Beach House stack to create my card. I'm especially fond of the
colors in this stack. You can't really tell it from my card, but there are lots of beach icons and sentiments in this stack making it very versatile.
To make my hydrangea blooms, I heat-embossed with white embossing powder onto black cardstock. This stamp is an older one that was in my stash, but most any of the flower stamps would work here.

Helpful hint:  When coloring on black or dark cardstock, first color the image with a white pencil. Then, begin your normal coloring.

Want to submit a card for the challenge? Here's a copy of this month's sketch. The rules are on Facebook on the "DCWV Inc."  page. The deadline is midnight on June 16th.

Thanks so much for stopping in,
Pamela

If your deadline were correct, I would have time! Don't think I can do it in one day. I'm super slow at everything. So glad to see you are able to let your talent shine! Beautiful card!
